PARTY ANIMALS

Private Residence
Bitterroot Valley, MT

This whimsical and heartwarming wedding embraced the couple’s love for their animals. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that this was a celebration of both love and furry (and hoofed) friends. The processional was a one-of-a-kind spectacle, with horses, dogs, and even flower goats making their way down the aisle, each playing a special role in the ceremony. I watercolor-painted the couple’s animals, which graced the stationery - save the dates, invitations,   table numbers, and “biscuit bar” (to take home dog treats to guests’ pets). I also created custom engraved individual wood cutting boards, which doubled as a plate and a keepsake, to serve a cheese course during the meal. Even that included honey from the couple’s beehives. It was a day filled with joy, love, and the unique spirit of the animals who helped make it unforgettable.

SECRET GARDEN

Green Valley Ranch
West Glacier, MT

Nestled in a private valley near the entrance to Glacier National Park, this secret garden wedding was both classic and luxurious. The stunning ceremony backdrop was accentuated by our cedar wood platform and a low “ground arch” of florals. I customized our large wooden pavilion structure to fit over the elongated table layout, which was then draped with soft linens and adorned with lush arrangements of blue + blush flowers, creating a serene and romantic atmosphere. Guests were treated to an exquisitely prepared menu, from appetizers, to dinner, to crepes for dessert, and paired with the finest champagne. Surrounded by beauty, nature, and love, this secret garden was the perfect backdrop for a day that felt like a fairytale come to life.

RUSTIC REFINED

Green Valley Ranch
West Glacier, MT

Set against the stunning backdrop of Glacier National Park, this fall-toned wedding embraced the rugged beauty of nature with a sophisticated Ralph Lauren-inspired aesthetic. Earthy tones of deep burgundy, amber, and forest green blended seamlessly with the surrounding wilderness, while classic, refined details added an air of timeless elegance. The couple’s style exuded understated luxury—crisp, tailored attire, rich textures, and subtle nods to rustic charm. The ceremony was intimate, held in the embrace of towering mountains and golden autumn leaves, followed by a reception that radiated warmth, comfort, and classic refinement. This rehearsal dinner was a vibrant, retro-western inspired atmosphere where everything was bathed in the groom’s favorite colors—chocolate brown + orange! RANCH ROMANCE

Burnt Fork Ranch
Bitterroot Valley, MT

Perched atop a scenic plateau overlooking the breathtaking Bitterroot Valley, this modern cowgirl wedding combined western charm with luxury and elegance. Horses, the couple's beloved companions, were a part of the celebration, adding a touch of rustic beauty to the day. Guests dined in style on custom-painted glazed ceramic plates, with each one featuring a unique work of art, which I painted. Luxurious stationery featured classic western illustrations, and also set a sophisticated tone. Embroidered linens adorned the tables, and I installed a custom sized Pavilion overhead, to hold the floral chandeliers. The evening's upscale menu featured gourmet food and handcrafted cocktails, creating an unforgettable dining experience. This wedding was a perfect fusion of classic western spirit, modern luxury, and a feminine romantic vibe, making it an event that was both refined and uniquely authentic to the couple.

ELEGANCE AT THE SUMMIT

Montage
Big Sky, MT

Set against the majestic Lone Peak backdrop (which I watercolor painted for their stationery), this traditional white wedding at the Montage Big Sky was the epitome of elegance. For this classical couple, the day was a dream come true—filled with timeless beauty and refined touches. The ceremony, held outdoors with sweeping views of the alpine scenery, was framed by delicate white florals and lush greenery, atop a custom built wooden platform and arch, which I created. Inside the ballroom, candlelight sparkled from many of our votives and candle holders. When paired with the handmade Italian linens I sourced (to match the linens the venue had for their existing tables), and more of the elegant white florals + greenery, it created a sophisticated, clean and romantic atmosphere. The evening unfolded with gourmet dining, lots of espresso martinis, and concluded with an 8-piece band, who flew in from California. This wedding had a timeless elegance that will remain relevant to wedding design for generations.

LOVE UNLEASHED

E3 Chophouse
Steamboat Springs, CO

In the midst of Covid 19, two veterinarians found a way to celebrate their love with an intimate micro-wedding. along the banks of the Yampa river in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Although their beloved pets couldn’t attend due to the circumstances of the pandemic, they were represented throughout the day—in custom keepsakes I created, pet-themed decor, and even specialty cocktails in their honor (I hand painted the dogs onto acrylic signage). I also had vendors who were booked pre-pandemic, and I was able to utilize their deposits creatively, to adjust to the change in location - from shipping pre-packaged freezer meals from an out-of-state caterer, to hiring a floral designer, who could receive pre-paid flowers from another vendor, and make stunning arrangements a reality. It was a day filled with love, resilience, and a reminder that even in the most difficult of times, love finds a way to shine.

HARVEST VOWS

Paws Up Resort
Greenough, MT

In the heart of Montana’s stunning fall landscape, this wedding was a true testament to resilience and love. With just seven days to go, I stepped in to take over the planning after the couple faced the loss of their original planner, (who was also a florist and rental company). Despite the challenges, I helped pull the day together beautifully—I called in favors to trusted florists and rental companies (and even provided some of our own) to replace what was lost. Lush fall florals complemented the breathtaking mountain backdrop, while every detail, from the intimate ceremony to the stunning reception, was thoughtfully crafted. The wedding was a seamless blend of warmth, charm, and elegance, proving that with creativity, determination, and a lot of heart, a dream wedding can still come true—even when the odds are stacked against you.

COSMIC COWGIRL

Stock Farm Club
Bitterroot Valley, MT

Under the vast, starry Montana sky, this cosmic wedding blended western charm with celestial elegance. There were many personal touches, including a custom painting by the bride's talented father, which I turned into envelope liners and used throughout wedding day stationery. I painted additional elements for other parts of the stationery, to mimic her father’s painting, and also pull in the western elements they liked. The bride brought her crystal collection for tabletop accents, to ensure good vibes only, and sage smudge sticks were passed out as favors. The bride’s personal style leaned heavy into patterns and textures, so I sourced linens for the tables to reflect this look, and I created a textile seating chart to tie the looks together. Above the dance floor, I also created a sturdy grid system, which allowed me to hang individual lighted star lanterns, which I hand painted to look metallic. It was a celebration where the beauty of the western spirit met the wonder of the cosmos—a true reflection of the couple’s love and their journey together.

WINTER WARMTH

320 Guest Ranch
Big Sky, MT

This winter wedding at a traditional dude ranch near Bozeman was the perfect blend of rustic charm and warm winter western elegance. Pendleton blankets were a main feature throughout, and determined the jewel toned color palette. The theme was intended to reflect warmth in the winter, so I built a ceremony “arch” of tinder + kindling, and lit it for the service. Our client requested that I avoid the use of fresh florals, and instead, opt for something “local.” So I met their needs with a very sustainable option - all flowers and grasses used were dried elements, sourced right here in Montana. Because flowers were not the most important element to the client, I shifted the focal point on the tables to the lighting - I relied on the soft glow of vintage oil lamps and candlelight to created an intimate, romantic atmosphere. I softened + warmed the look of the chairs by adding faux fur chair caps, which I sewed. Conchos and branded enamelware mugs added another western touch to place settings as well. And dessert was a s’mores style platter, which guests could roast marshmallows over the venue’s open fireplace in the lodge. Set against the snow-covered landscape of the ranch, this wedding was a beautiful, and cozy celebration of love in a very western style.

OUTER SPACE
BAT MITZVAH

Public Library
Missoula, MT

This was truly a cosmic celebration, taking guests on a journey beyond the stars! The event began at the local synagogue, as the Bat Mitzvah girl went through this important rite of passage while her closest family and friends watched in support. Once the service concluded, everyone moved outdoors, to enjoy a brightly themed kosher space themed lunch.  That evening, I kicked off the celebration at the public library. I custom-built a “space station” entrance tunnel that transported everyone to another galaxy. “NASA” inspired name tags were helpful so guests could meet one another, but also functioned as escort cards. The creatively themed kosher menu was a culinary adventure, with dinner and bar offerings that were just as imaginative as they were delicious. Especially a fun assortment of sugar-free kosher specialty Mocktails for the kids. From space-inspired appetizers to stellar drinks, and the most unique desserts, every detail was thoughtfully crafted. I kept the kids entertained with alien themed party favors, interactive games, dancing, and a space themed photo booth, complete with a balloon arch, which I also created.  It was a day of cosmic fun and unforgettable memories, celebrating a truly special milestone.

FARM FRIENDS
BIRTHDAY PARTY

Private Residence
Bitterroot Valley, MT

This unforgettable farm themed birthday celebration for a 5-year-old blended luxury with fun. I was hired 30 days out from this event, and was still able to create some large projects to make this a unique experience. A privately catered menu featured oysters and caviar for adults, and a summer BBQ themed menu for the kids. Adult guests received custom Damascus knives and custom fitted cowboy hats from HH Hat Co. as favors while the kids enjoyed a bounce house and pony rides. Because this event was hosted at a private residence, I custom built a fenced area to contain farm animals, so all guests could interact and enjoy a petting zoo. Our hay bale bar featured refreshing margaritas and Topo Chico cocktails. I also created lots of decor and signage elements which featured denim and bandanas, tying the farm theme back in wherever it made sense.

SPOOKTACULAR
SUPPER CLUB

Private Residence
Bitterroot Valley, MT

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so I hosted a supper club in my home, for my close friends (I recommend a Supper Club for those of you who are busy and rarely get friend time unless you schedule it - this helps!). Guests received bendable skeleton invitations, and were encouraged to wear costumes. I served a themed dinner and unique drinks, which I carefully researched + designed, so I would be able to execute it all myself. The place settings featured items from my own rental inventory, and I designed printed menu cards and custom ouija board planchette place cards. It was a Halloween event full of surprises, indulgence, and a dash of frightful fun for friends.

FUNDRAISER GALAS

AN EVENING AT HOGWARTS

Private Property
Missoula, MT

It was an evening straight out of the Wizarding World at this enchanting Harry Potter themed fundraiser, where magic and philanthropy came together. Guests registered in a separate entrance tent, in the middle of an open field, and then all guests walked through a functioning “Platform 9 ¾” portal. The moment you entered the tent, you were inside the Great Hall! I illuminated the tent with floating candles and up-lights, and hand dyed + hung house banners for Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff. Tables were set in four long rows, and guests bid the night away, to help their “house” win a special prize as the highest contributor. Guests tried their luck at the “Apothecary” themed potion wine pull, and participated in a silent + live auction. They sipped on bubbling specialty cocktails, and Butter beer, served from the themed bar, the “Leaky Cauldron.” The evening’s menu, inspired by an English Pub, featured hearty dishes, while the themed desserts were a sweet nod to the magical world, complete with non-profit branded “Golden Snitches.” I created paper products which also leaned into the theme - from invitations, to menu cards, to programs, to the entire event’s slide show. The evening concluded with a game-show like grand prize drawing, where I pulled the winner from a functioning, smoking Goblet of Fire.  It was an unforgettable night of whimsical fun and giving, helping this non-profit exceed their event fundraising goals.

CIRQUE - A VINTAGE CIRCUS

Ravalli County Fairgrounds
Hamilton, MT

Step right up to this unforgettable vintage circus themed fundraiser! I had the pleasure of helping plan + design this event for the 3rd year in a row, bringing together exciting interactive fundraising activities (carnival games, which I hand made all elements of), and custom-built décor that transported guests to a bygone era of circus magic. I created paper mache centerpieces, topped with golden circus animals. The menu was themed from start to finish - appetizers, specialty cocktails, a plated dinner for 550 people (which was paired with appropriately labeled “Freakshow” wines), and a dessert dash, which the whole community created desserts for. I created all the paper products for this event as well, from menu cards, to signage, to programs, and the event’s slide show program. The highlight of the evening was the breathtaking “big top,” which took us 13 hours to install, even with heavy equipment. It was a very successful night where generosity and nostalgia met in perfect harmony, all in support of a great cause.

OPENING THE DOORS TO WONDERLAND

Missoula County Fairgrounds
Missoula, MT

I stepped into the whimsical world of Wonderland at this magical fundraiser, where every detail was inspired by the beloved tale. I hand made multiple styles of centerpieces, from Cheshire Cat trees, Red Queen topiaries, Mad Hatter candelabras, and White Rabbit tree-stump burrows. After registration, all guests were required to pass through a rabbit hole, to enter the dining + auction activities area. Oversized teacups + playing cards hung overhead, to give the illusion that guests were still spinning down the rabbit hole. Guests were delighted by "Eat Me" and "Drink Me" food items, offering playful twists on classic bites and beverages. The themed dinner was a culinary adventure, and for dessert, guests were treated to artisan Mad Hatter cupcakes, which featured shortbread teabag cookies. The Red Queen-themed green hedge bar served up Jabberwocky and “off with her head!” signature drinks. Throughout the night, themed entertainment kept everyone on their toes, and this night of whimsy, fun, and generosity ended up being a successful event for the organization.

MASS TIMBER SUMMIT

The Viewhouse, Denver Art Museum, Mile High Station
+ The Art Hotel
Denver, CO

This sustainable wood products conference was an ambitious, multi-faceted event that spanned four different locations across Denver. From event registration to building tours, trade shows, networking events, and educational courses, every detail was meticulously planned and executed.  This was a detail heavy event, where I used both my building expertise as well as my graphic design skills, to set this event apart. Keep in mind, the attendees were architects, engineers and builders themselves, so impressing them was quite the feat! I created decorations and elements to feature the actual wood product itself - from wooden trees, to serving trays + boxes for buffets, to large photo backdrops, and marquee letters. And I created a lot of branded elements, like cocktail napkins, linens, custom throw pillows, a 100 page event magazine, pull-up banners, gobo lights, lanyards, badges, VIP gifts, and more. With a hotel room + a cargo trailer serving as my home base, I navigated the logistics of this large event with precision, delivering top-notch service for both attendees and exhibitors in the heart of Denver, Colorado.

MONTANA MADE WEDDING FAIR

Ravalli County Fairgrounds
Hamilton, MT

The Montana Made Wedding Fair was a celebration of local talent, creativity, and community. From booking exceptional Montana-based vendors to handling the event marketing, registration, setup, and timeline, I ensured every detail was well planned. Guests enjoyed a variety of interactive experiences, including candy stations, mimosa bar, and a flower crown building station. With inspiring decor displays throughout, couples discovered endless ideas to bring their wedding visions to life. A standout feature was the Bridal Haus Consignment market, offering the professional resale of used (but top quality) wedding décor, allowing couples to shop sustainably for their big day. ENCORE
AWAITING

Private Concert Venue
Belterra, IN

As a concert + event planner at a 12,831 square foot event space, I had the privilege of curating unforgettable musical + entertainment experiences for a diverse range of audiences. It started with reviewing contracts and riders for each artist, and working directly with the show promoters. But I then managed all the event logistics, from start to finish. I worked closely with security, and I personally oversaw technical aspects, from printing the tickets myself, to setting up will-call, arranging the seating, and managing crowd flow by hiring and training a team of ushers. I was also responsible for setting up green room needs, contracting tech teams and making sure the artist had the correct setup for each show (I even had to run a stage spotlight when an employee ran late). The more rewarding part of the job was being responsible for managing the artists timing pre-show, giving them the thumbs up, and then introducing them on stage, in front of a packed house. I planned + executed many successful and fun concert experiences!

RESPONSIBILITIES: Contract reviews, advertisements, promoter communications, hiring staffing and security + training, printing tickets, setting up will-call, managing artist’s rider + accommodations, communicating all tech, setting up concert chairs (1200 seat venue) + green room, introducing artist on stage, communications with artist manager + promoter
